6-11 year olds
Today in math class we have done an activity that I really liked:
On a table there was a cube with a door and a window drawn in it, as in a house.
On another table there was the same house but it was unfolded; it ws possible to fold it up and it would become the cube-house.
We needed to paint the unfolded house (its called “NET” in math terms) a door so when we folded it up it was set up the same way as the one on the first table.
Here you can see four images of the house. There is also a net. You should paint the door in the right place in the net.
If you do not understand it, you can print it and fold it.
If you feel like it you can also draw in the net the other pictures of the house.
